Welcome to the Children's Feeding Clinic. We specialise in the treatment of feeding difficulties
in babies and children.
What we do:
Feeding difficulties can potentially result in poor growth and suboptimal development. It can also cause considerable family stress. The Children's Feeding Clinic (CFC) offer a multidisciplinary approach to the assessment and management of a wide spectrum of feeding problems in babies and children with and without underlying disease difficulties.
The cause of the feeding difficulty is often multifactorial. It requires assessment by a range of professionals specialised in paediatric feeding difficulties. These include specialist speech and language therapists and paediatric dietitians. We may also refer children to a specialist paediatric psychologist, a paediatric occupational therapist and/or we range of paediatricians of various specialities, depending on the presenting problem and the needs of the child.
